Egmont Publishing unveils Play-Doh showcase magazine

Hasbro’s Play-Doh brand is getting its own magazine, thanks to a new deal with Egmont Publishing.

As part of the company’s Showcase magazine series, the special issue will boast a giant poster, stickers and four tubs of the famous putty.

Inside the magazine fans will find animal masks to create, Play-Doh puzzles, craft activities and Play-Doh models to build.

Designed for boys and girls aged from three to six, the issue will be published on April 5th for £3.99.

Hasbro's Play-Doh enters the app world

Play-Doh, a modelling compound owned by Hasbro and manufactured under its preschool division has now entered the virtual world of gaming through its new application game named Play-Doh Touch.

The application is designed for both iPad and iPhone devices and is available for play for free for any can od Play-Doh or $40 Shape to Life Studio set consisting of seven Play-Doh cans as well as stamps and cutters which can be used to make balloons, wings and musical notes to give life to the virtual characters.
