Hello Kitty (Twitter: @hellokitty) is undoubtedly one of the most successful licensing property worldwide and attracts a multitude of deals. The latest deal in Hello Kitty’s kitty bag is that with Casio.
Casio Computer Co., Ltd. has partnered with Sanrio to launch a Hello Kitty inspired watch as a part of its BABY-G line of shock-resistant watches for women.
The watch is seen featuring Hello Kitty inspired graffiti art. The dial and band are decorated with graffiti Baby-G and Hello Kitty tags and the hour and minute hands are coloured red thereby adding to the Hello Kitty theme. An original design of Hello Kitty with a clock ‘face’ has also been engraved on the backside of the watch.
The watch is available for sale at select Casio stores and Macy’s at a retail price of $150.
