Leading creator and producer Shaftesbury/Smokebomb has announced multiple licensing deals for Canadian Broadcasting Corporation’s longest-running series Murdoch Mysteries and popular digital series Carmilla.
The first licensing deal has been signed with Company & Co. to launch an immersive gaming experience titled ‘Murdoch Myseries Escape Series’ which will launch in February 2017 in Toronto at the George Brown House. The game will include “The Secret of Station House No. 4”, a one-hour game in which players will be required to discover clues, piece together evidence and crack the case to save the Detective Murdoch.
Another deal with Jewlr.com will see the creation of a necklace set to appear in a recent episode of the series while Mighty Fine will develop a clothing line in association with the series.
Other Licensees include Titan Books, Segal Licensing and Katalyst that will launch products based on the hit series.
