Staples Inc. (Twitter: @Staples_World), an American office supply chain store with over 3,000 stores worldwide has partnered with GRM Document Management (Twitter: @GRMDocumentMgmt), a leading information management solutions provider for cloud-based digital data storage, records management and related products and services.
Through this partnership, Staples aims to expand its brand into a range of solutions-oriented services and products. The mutually beneficial partnership will also help GRM to expand its own customer base.
As a part of the licensing deal, Staples’ customers will be given licensed access to Staples Records and Cloud Management service. The service will be available to small businesses that Staples caters to on Staples.com. Records management will be offered at a monthly subscription rate ranging from $15 to $30 per user/per month, depending on the number of features and the amount of storage space. Many other features such as electronic signatures and approval workflow will also be available at higher rates.
Furthermore, it will include on-demand online scanning and imaging ; Cloud-based records management technology designed to share, collaborate on and manage digital business records, including data encryption for security, approval workflow, e-signature capability, and the ability of users to revise digital documents; modules for HR records management, and accounts/payable invoice processing.
The offered services will be carefully managed with a special focus on security and compliance with data storage industry standards.
The brand, further has plans to expand into other relevant categories like business insurance and payroll services in the future.
