Cartoon Network U.K. has partnered with Jonathan and Alistair Brownlee, British Triathlete siblings and Childline, a UK based free, private and confidential helpline service for children under 19years of age to launch its latest anti-bullying campaign “CN Buddy Network”.
CN Buddy Network is all set to launch during the National Anti-Bullying Week (Nov. 14-18) with an aim to encourages kids and young people to “Be a Buddy, Not a Bully” and aims to raise awareness and empower young people to take positive action against bullying which is a growing issue for children and young people nowadays.
Cartoon Network audience falls within the prime age group experiencing bullying and it is hugely important for it to address this in a way that is positive, supportive and relevant.
Furthermore, the Brownlee brothers will appear in an on-air campaign on Cartoon Network, which also features an original series of animated shorts that articulate positive messages about friendship, school and appreciating differences.
