Nickelodeon and Viacom Consumer Products have sealed multiple deals for the MTV brand. Separate deals have been signed with Agrokor, Evos and CoolCat with an intention to give fans a new way to embrace the MTV lifestyle.
Agrokor, a food and beverage distributor is all set to launch MTV Up, a new energy drink across the UK and Middle East which will be available in UK in November, 2016 and in the Middle East by 2017. It will be available in four flavours – Classic, Sugar free, Cola and Orange and two can sizes – 250ml and 550 ml. The branded energy drink is already available throughout Eastern Europe, Italy and Russia.
MTV has also partnered with Évos to debut a line of personal audio products that will be inspired by various musicians and will include a combination of over-ear and in-ear style headphones in both wired and wireless categories with prices starting from £59.99.
Another major deal has been signed with CoolCat, a Dutch fashion retailer to introduce a new line of clothing and accessories inspired by MTV designs that will be developed by apparel licensee Van Der Erve. The collection includes sweaters, t-shirts, caps and bags for both men and women and is available in CoolCat stores across Belgium and the Netherlands.
