20th Century Fox Consumer Products (Twitter: @20thcenturyfox) recently signed a number of new licensing deals in the EMEA region for its animated film franchise, Ice Age: Collision Course that was in theatres early this summer. These deals are targeted at increasing the excitement amongst fans before the launch of the DVD.
The first deal has been signed with Chipita, a Greek snack-producer for Ice Age themed packaging for its baked croissants, biscuits and cakes ranges which will be available until spring next year across 18 markets in Central and Eastern Europe and will feature 100 different designs including 10 special metallic editions.
The Second one was signed with Esselunga (Twitter: @TuttoEsselunga), an Italian supermarket chain which will feature Ice Age in its annual Community Program for Schools and will run in more than 150 locations.
Another deal was signed with Les Carroz (Twitter: @Les_Carroz), a family ski resort in the Alps which will feature a special Ice Age zone for kids with activities such as sledging and rubber rings, ski runs and design branded ski passes and wide range of merchandise.
Other deals that were signed recently are with Pepsico for its snack brand, Cheetos, and also custom TV spots by Lidl, as well as 15 other retail loyalty programs in 14 countries that were secured by The Continuity Company. Foc Consumer Products also launched two new digital games based on the series.
